Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of TheKitchenTablle website, your reservations, and your attendance at our contemporary Australian dining experiences, entertainment-only poker evenings, and private events.

TheKitchenTablle | Sydney, Australia

1. Introduction

TheKitchenTablle ("we", "us", "our") is an elegant Australian restaurant offering contemporary fine dining, curated social experiences, and offline poker-themed evenings strictly for entertainment. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules, responsibilities, and policies that govern your use of our website located at https://thekitchentablle.com, as well as your reservations and attendance at our restaurant, themed evenings, and private events.

By engaging with TheKitchenTablle online or in person, you acknowledge that our venue is dedicated to premium hospitality, refined cuisine, and social, non-gambling entertainment, and that your experience is subject to these Terms and Conditions and applicable Australian laws.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website, browsing our content, submitting an enquiry, making a reservation, joining a waitlist, or attending our restaurant, poker-themed evenings, or private events, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you must refrain from using our website, must not proceed with a reservation, and must not attend our events or experiences.

Specific terms may apply to certain experiences (including seasonal chef's menus, exclusive wine dinners, and private functions). Where there is inconsistency, any additional written terms provided at the time of booking will prevail to the extent of that inconsistency.

3. Eligibility

Our website and venue are intended for guests aged 18 years and over. By accessing our website, making a reservation, or participating in our events, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements in Australia.
  • You will provide accurate, current, and complete information when making enquiries or reservations.

We reserve the right to request valid photo identification at any time and to refuse entry or service if age or eligibility requirements are not met. Guests under 18 years may only be permitted in strictly designated areas or at specific times in accordance with relevant Australian laws and our internal policies, and only with prior written approval from management.

4. Reservation Policy

All reservations for dining, entertainment-only poker evenings, and private events are subject to availability and confirmation. When you place a booking request through our website, by phone, email, or in person, it is an offer to dine or attend an event at a specified time. Your reservation is only confirmed once you receive written or verbal confirmation from us.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to amend, refuse, or cancel any reservation, including but not limited to circumstances involving capacity constraints, operational requirements, special events, health and safety considerations, or instances of suspected misuse or inappropriate behaviour.

We may request a credit card guarantee, deposit, or prepayment for certain experiences, group bookings, themed nights, and private events. Any applicable deposit requirements, minimum spend, and cancellation terms will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

If you need to amend or cancel a reservation, you must contact us within the timeframe specified in your booking confirmation. Late cancellations, significant reductions in guest numbers, or non-arrival may incur a fee or forfeiture of deposits, as communicated in the relevant booking terms.

5. Poker Events: Entertainment Only

TheKitchenTablle hosts offline poker-themed evenings and private social tournaments designed exclusively for entertainment and social connection. All games, tournaments, and poker-related activities conducted at our venue are strictly recreational and are not intended or permitted to constitute real-money gambling.

By participating in any poker-themed event at TheKitchenTablle, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • No real-money gambling, betting, or wagering of any kind is permitted on our premises in relation to poker activities.
  • Chips, points, or similar mechanisms used during poker evenings have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash or prizes of monetary value, and are solely for entertainment and friendly competition.
  • Any prizes or acknowledgements, where offered, are experiential, symbolic, or hospitality-based (for example, recognition, experiences, or hospitality inclusions) and are not to be interpreted as gambling winnings.
  • You must not facilitate or encourage side bets, informal wagering, or any form of unapproved gambling activity within or around the venue.

We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate participation in any event, and to request guests leave the venue, where we reasonably suspect that real-money gambling or other unauthorised activities are taking place.

6. Payment & Pricing

All prices for dining, events, and experiences at TheKitchenTablle are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and, unless expressly stated otherwise, include applicable Australian taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST).

We take care to ensure our menus, event packages, and experience pricing are accurate and up to date; however, all prices, inclusions, and availability are subject to change without notice. Any confirmed pricing specified at the time of your final booking will apply to that reservation, subject to any additional services you request on the day.

Payment terms, including accepted payment methods, deposit requirements, prepayment conditions, minimum spend obligations, and cancellation fees, will be communicated at the time of booking or as part of your event proposal. By confirming a reservation, you agree to all such payment terms.

Where cancellation fees or charges apply (including for late cancellations, non-arrival, or reduction in guest numbers below the agreed minimum), you authorise us to charge the credit card or payment method supplied at the time of booking in accordance with those terms.

7. Guest Behaviour & Conduct

TheKitchenTablle is a luxury hospitality environment designed for refined, relaxed, and respectful social experiences. We expect all guests to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with our standards of premium Australian hospitality and applicable laws.

By visiting our venue or attending our events, you agree that you will:

  • Treat our team members, partners, and fellow guests with courtesy and respect at all times.
  • Refrain from any behaviour that is disruptive, aggressive, discriminatory, harassing, unsafe, or otherwise inappropriate.
  • Comply with all reasonable directions from our staff, including those relating to health and safety, responsible service of alcohol, photography guidelines, and privacy considerations.
  • Respect our interiors, furnishings, poker equipment, and property, and accept responsibility for any damage caused by you or your guests, beyond fair wear and tear.

Management reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to refuse entry, refuse service, remove guests from the venue, or cancel current and future bookings where behaviour is inconsistent with these expectations or where safety, comfort, or the experience of other guests may be compromised. In such cases, deposits or prepayments may be forfeited to the extent permitted by law.

8. Liability & Disclaimers

While we are committed to providing a safe, refined, and impeccably hosted environment, certain inherent risks may arise from dining, consuming food and beverages, and participating in social entertainment experiences.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheKitchenTablle and its directors, employees, and agents are not liable for any loss, damage, cost, claim, or expense (including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property loss, or damage) suffered or incurred by you in connection with:

  • Your access to or use of our website, including reliance on any information or materials provided.
  • Your visit to our venue, including participation in dining experiences, entertainment-only poker evenings, or private events.
  • Any act, omission, or conduct of any third party, including guests or external suppliers.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees, rights, or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation that cannot be excluded by contract.

If our liability cannot be fully excluded and we are found to be liable to you in relation to any services supplied, our liability is, to the fullest extent permitted by law, limited at our option to resupplying the relevant services or paying the cost of resupplying those services.
